Daniels and Perkins Successfully Defend Telect Inc. in Race Discrimination Case

In July 2009, Ruth Ann Daniels and Bryan Perkins successfully defended Telect Inc., a manufacturer of global communications products, in a race discrimination case before U.S. District Judge Sidney Fitzwater in Dallas. The plaintiff, a former Telect employee, alleged discriminatory termination and retaliation. Following a three-day trial, the jury deliberated 30 minutes before returning a unanimous defense verdict for Telect, finding no discrimination and awarding no damages to the employee.
