Arbitration

GMWD is proud of its contributions to the development and implementation of arbitration plans for companies that seek to control the forum for the resolution of certain types of disputes.  Over 1,000 companies who have opted out of the Texas Workers' Compensation system use mandatory arbitration agreements prepared by the firm.  GMWD has obtained opinions from courts upholding non-subscribing employers’ mandatory arbitration provisions, and  enforcing arbitration provision against FSLA collective actions lawsuits, which effectively dismissed the collective action claims against our clients.
