Employment Litigation

In connection with its employment practice, the firm is involved in defending management in employment and labor law claims in both state and federal courts.  We are regularly involved in representing and advising employers concerning claims and issues that arise under the Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (“ADEA”), the Family Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”) and claims for discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation brought under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  The firm also represents and defends our management clients in claims for wrongful termination, issues involving violation of trade secret and confidentiality provisions and related claims brought by employees for a variety of alleged wrongs, including assault and battery, defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
